The format of the show is unconventional: comedians write the most disgusting stand-up monologue, and then by drawing lots, one of them must perform it in front of a real audience. The stage is real. The embarrassment is sincere. The laughter is awkward. We needed to enhance this mix of tension, absurdity, and humor with sound.
We created a mystically-funny composition: on one side - dramatic, even somewhat ominous mood, on the other - self-irony and light trash. An abundance of percussions, claps, a thick bass guitar, breath, and chaotic drums come together in one anxiously-comic rhythm. We added sound effects - as if someone in panic rushes onto the stage, while the audience holds their breath, but then they erupted in applause for the performers.
